I give my clients (with a webportal) acces to a central PHPmyvisites-application in combination with a universal manual. It works very good. When they could personalize the interface, I think I would get more questions and it cost me more time to explane all possibilties. So I prefere one universal layout or the possibility to switch personalisation off for users/viewers.
I think a main page with the the mainindicators and deeper links is not an bad idea, but I can live with the current structure. In the beginning it was not so logical for me, but now I am used to it ;-) My clients have the same experience.

I think that the main problem of PHPMV is that all information is divided in different pages and that you must browse all this pages to have an overview.

It would be interessant to have a main page with all the main indicators (synthesis) and some links referring to deeper information.

Il also think it would be relevant to have pages dedicated to some specific data for a deeper analysis :
- a page for the ISP
- a page for the affluents
- a page for browsers
- & so on...

As SloYvY said, a brainstorming is a good idea... but it's hard to coordinate

So king of netvibes drag box. Maybe, developper can be inspire by http://mon.itor.us/ wich probably has somes good tips to include, in the futur, into phpmyvisite.

It would be nice to choose which box appear (and wich stats) on the main page and drag them around to personalize this page.

Maybe use AJAX-technology for kind of popup-windows or changes on the pages via links that refer to deeper information of the statistics.
