geniosity, it would be possible to add an image to each thread in the feed so that you know which posts have been loaded.
But to do that, that's the point : you need that phpmyvisites gets the control over your feed so it can add tracking images. Otherwise you would have to do it manually and I guess it would be painful.

Giving the control of the feed to phpmyvisites would allow to do many automatic things, as feedburner does.

Couldn't you do something like pixel tracking? Then we could keep feedburner (for other purposes, or ease of not having to move over) and just add the tracking code to the feed, which would use a pixel to track hits.

Just an idea. Have NO idea if it's even possible.
