  I also think this can be good to learn from, its a italian j2ee Open Source project SpagoBI - a comprehensive framework with datawarehouse, Jasper reporting, Talend OpenStudio and more

  I know its not web analytics but I think its good for some to know about how they develop this over time...you dont need to invent the wheel again - better to integrate with other good solution that is complementary to yours.

  I think we can learn a lot from this company Omniture. Here is a link to them http://www.omniture.com/ just priority what could be developed or not....give you a lot of ideas
