So this is my feedback: PHPMyVisites kicks ass!
It's awesome!
Go for it Mathieu!
I think it would be nice to allow user authentication to be done either to the local DB or to an LDAP backend (Active Directory, Sun DSEE, OpenLDAP, etc..) Authorization and permission will still be done within the DB, just the auth would be accomplishedusing LDAP.
Hello,
another idea...
it could be interresting to be able to display a kind of div with configurable counters like a specific graph, last refferers, number of visits... without giving a full public access at the statistics...
a plugin (phpmvcount) is already doing a part of this job (for the counters) however it could be a good idea to implement such functionalities directly in phpmv with more options

Bonjour,
Unless I miss something I can only view stats one day at a time. I would like to view by a week or month.
Bonjour,
Hi,
I'd really appreciate it if you guy's could consider incorporating a "heat map" type feature for your stats. An example is here: http://www.labsmedia.com/clickheat/index.html
I have found it very useful when you have more than one link to a another page, & I believe that this will become very important with an increased use of Ajax etc.
Cheers
It would be nice to be able to see what areas of the pages are being clicked. You could use the http://www.labsmedia.com/clickheat/
project which is open-source.
Hello,
I think that is very interesting and important know what visits come from a link of payment or a organic link. We can see if payment links have a good result or not.
oups wrong
I also think this can be good to learn from, its a italian j2ee Open Source project SpagoBI - a comprehensive framework with datawarehouse, Jasper reporting, Talend OpenStudio and more

I know its not web analytics but I think its good for some to know about how they develop this over time...you dont need to invent the wheel again - better to integrate with other good solution that is complementary to yours.
I try this version...for the first time. The first day I use an IE7 explorer, the following day an IE6 explorer. I asks configurations for the week and I found only one navigator instead of two?
The corresponding graphic is not good too.
Best regards.

Is there somebody know why webalizer is so different from phpMyVisites. I mean there is about three or five hundred pages difference between these two analyser. This trouble is the same compare to google analytic. Does phpMyVisites is more efficient or less lyer than webalizer ;)).
Oh ! I whish so much to be as popular in phpMyVisites as webalizer. It's also possible that these statistics do not mean anything in front of real life and sensible love...And I say more !:
Dead to the stats. Sorry statistics and just enjoy surfing on the WWW white the commercial sharks .
L'application flash de mon site web bouge dans tous les sens lors de l'analyse "points chauds"... Toutefois les clics sont bien indiques.
