It should be fairly straight-forward to use ADODB or Pear-MDB2 abstraction layers instead of mysql_ specific calls so that the database type could be changed

Google Analytics (GA) is a great tool. But we have no control on what they does with our statistics. That's why I think PhpMyVisites should implement most of GA features. The E-Commerce ones (like "Revenue Sources", "Visits to Transaction", "Product Performance", etc.) are great helps for small (and bigger) webshops.

From Google Analytics: "Have my visits and conversion rates increased or decreased? This report shows whether the total number of visits, the number of conversions for each goal, and the conversion rates for each goal have increased or decreased from a previous date range to the current date range."
Google Analytics don't have a good user-interface as PhpMyVisites have, so this feature would be sooo useful!

to have the choice to analyze the week over 5 days or 7 days to possibly eliminate the weekend for certain professional sites but also the Intranets

It would be complementary and interesting to have a live visites with ajax page.

I don't really know the name of this feature but i'd saw this a long time ago. This is a graphical map of the site with arrow between pages more or less large with number of clicks done from one to another. here a simplistic sample of what i mean:

It would be nice to allow the merge or at least comparison of two or more sites statistics.
We arlready have the homepage that give some quick comparison but it would be interesting to have a merge results to have an overview of all maintained sites. And in an other hand it will be interesting to compare two sites activities and statistics.

I invest quite heavily in adwords - all three major search engines. It would be great to see what referrals are from paid referrals and how many are organic.
